Degree Programs

The call to ministry can take many forms. Union-PSCE provides nine degrees for those seeking preparation as pastors, educators, scholars, or in other forms of service in the church and world. Students at Union-PSCE follow a rigorous curriculum that integrates intensive reading, research, and study of classical biblical and theological material with attention to the practical skills needed for ministry with individuals of all ages and with diverse communities of faith.

Which degree is right for you? The answer may depend on the form of ministry to which you may feel that God is calling you. Graduates of Union-PSCE serve as pastors of Christian congregations, as directors of Christian education, as international mission workers, advocates and social workers, camp directors, and as professors of Bible or religious studies at colleges, universities, and seminaries.

All eight of the degrees are available to students at the Richmond campus. Two core degrees, the M.Div. and the M.A.C.E., are available to students in Charlotte. The M.A.C.E. degree is also available through the innovative Extended Campus Program, where students complete much of their academic work from home.
