A Message from the Staff

The Center for Ministry and Leadership Development promotes excellence in ministry by stimulating growth, development, and renewal for church leaders. Our fundamental purpose is to serve church leaders who strive to stay on a growing edge in ministry by providing continuing theological education that is innovative, substantive, and relevant. The Center seeks to integrate knowledge and experience – as well as action and reflection – with the practice of ministry.

These seminars are intentionally small, thus providing an opportunity for meaningful personal reflection and discussion with leaders and participants. Persons from all over the country participate in our events to gain new knowledge and perspectives, to develop gifts and skills for healthy and effective ministry, to engage peers who are interested in similar topics, to utilize the resources of a world-class library, and to have some time away for refreshment.

As you review offerings, we hope you will find at least one that is appealing to you and that you will plan to join us in your pursuit of excellence in ministry. If you have questions about these events, or suggestions for future events, feel free to contact one of us. After all, we are here for you...

Sincerely,
Ken McFayden, Dean
Stan Hargraves, Director of Program Development
Sheila Partin, Program Coordinator
