Paisley Hall
Paisley Hall, Continuing Education Center, was originally built in 1924 as the residence for the presidents of the Assembly’s Training School (ATS) which became in 1959, Presbyterian School of Christian Education (PSCE). In 1978, after many years as a home for several presidents and faculty families, Paisley became a continuing education center under the direction of Dr. Donald L. Griggs. This building was officially named Paisley Hall in March of 1978 at a dedication service to honor Dr. Edward Bland Paisley, Professor of Religious Education for ATS from 1928 to 1943, and President during the depression years from 1933 to 1943. Throughout his life, Dr. Paisley was greatly concerned about the importance of continuing education for all church members. Paisley Hall has been through several renovations; the latest was completed in December of 2000. Paisley is now home of The Center for Ministry and Leadership Development for Union - PSCE.
