Union-PSCE Team Goes to N’awlins

Richmond, VA — March 18, 2008 — A mission team of 13 Union-PSCE students will travel to New Orleans March 14-23 where they will help build houses for residents who lost homes in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Watch their progress as they build homes and hope in New Orleans.

The team will join forces with a recovery group, RHINO, “Rebuilding Hope in New Orleans,” a ministry of St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church in partnership with Habitat for Humanity. Workers will construct 14 new homes for residents in Ferry Place. These homes will form the nucleus for a rebuilt neighborhood and help to rebuild lives by providing homes for these 14 families.
