Make Plans to Attend Presidential Inauguration
Richmond, VA — March 18, 2008 — Brian Blount will be inaugurated as President of Union-PSCE on Wednesday, May 7, at 4 p.m.
The service of installation will be held on the seminary quadrangle, 3401 Brook Road in Richmond. Participants are asked to dress appropriately for outdoor weather.
Invitations to the service were mailed to alumni/ae and friends of Union-PSCE on March 12. All are invited. In order to plan for the large number of guests expected, responses are requested by April 9 by calling (804) 278-4245.
A choir from Carver Memorial Presbyterian Church in Newport News will participate in the service. Dr. Blount served Carver Memorial as pastor for six years following his graduation from Princeton Seminary. The service will be accompanied by a brass ensemble.

The inauguration comes at the conclusion of the annual Sprunt Lectures. The annual lectures and alumni/ae gatherings will be held May 5-7.
