Among its students, Union-PSCE seeks to enhance those gifts for ministry through a solid grounding in Bible, Christian education, church history, theology, preaching and worship, and pastoral care. The need is real. One in three mainline churches lacks a full-time pastor. Even fewer churches have a trained Christian educator on staff. Today, when there is so much that distracts from the call of the gospel, the need to encourage Christian leaders with wisdom, intelligence, patience, and integrity becomes all the more apparent. Union-PSCE depends on the faithful support of friends, churches, alumni/ae, foundations, and others.
