Skreslet’s interests include the history and theology of Christian mission, Islam, and Orthodox Christianity, especially in the Middle East. An ordained Presbyterian minister, he previously served on the faculty of the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Cairo, Egypt for ten years. He is the author of Picturing Christian Mission: New Testament Images of Disciples in Mission (Eerdmans, 2006), as well as an introduction to New Testament Greek written in Arabic and published by the Bible Society of Egypt.  He is currently at work on a new introduction to the discipline of missiology.
