Dr. Holmes Rolston III
Environmental ethicist, University Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at Colorado State University.
He received his doctorate at the University of Edinburgh.
An Ordained minister in Presbyterian Church(U.S.A.), Dr. Rolston served for a decade as minister of the Walnut Grove and High Point Presbyterian Church in Bristol, Virginia.
His publications in historical theology, ethics, and especially those pioneering environmental ethics, have received accolades from both church leaders and scholars in the academic disciplines. In the fall of 1997, Dr. Rolston presented the famed Gifford Lectures in Edinburgh.
His topic: "Genes, Genesis and God."
Jeanne Moutoussamy-Ashe
A Prodigious photographer and graphic designer who holds a B.F.A. in photography from the Copper Union, New York City. Her work has been showcased in solo and group exhibitions around the world, and has appeared in Life, Smithsonian, Sports Illustrated, Ebony, Essence, People and The New York Times. Her photography is featured in the books Daufuskie Island, A Photography Essay; The African Americans; Songs of My People; and Daddy and Me.
