Fourteen works on display in the William Smith Morton Library on the campus of Union-PSCE, Richmond, Virginia. The exhibition is in partnership with six other theological member institutions of the Washington Theological Consortium.

“The Mystery of Van Gogh’s Night Café”
Public lecture, reception, and gallery talk Dr. Cliff Edwards, professor of religion and arts at Virginia Commonwealth University
Cliff Edwards holds the Ph.D. from Northwestern University in the history and literature of religions. He has studied at Strasbourg University, the University of Neuchatel, Hebrew Union School of Bible and Archaeology, and at the Daitokuji Zen Monastery in Japan. He has taught for more than 30 years at Virginia Commonwealth University. His newest book is on the artist Vincent Van Gogh’s spiritual search and is titled, The Mystery of the Night Café. It is forthcoming from The Statue University of New York Press.
